I still do not believe that IOC President Kirsty Coventry is following a clear agenda: yet today she has thoroughly humiliated her patron, Thomas Bach, regarding the Olympic programme and the bids. There is less and less left of Bach’s scandalously opaque rule changes and his Sun King politics.
