It’s more accurate to call this a race massacre, akin to those perpetrated by white supremacists in the US during Jim Crow.

It is imprecise to call the violence in Northern Ireland “anti-immigrant” violence. Mobs would not be rampaging if a White immigrant was accused of a knife attack instead of a Black Sudanese immigrant.
