On June 9th, 1953, a deadly tornado struck Worcester, MA. 94 were killed & 1288 injured.
My mom, aunt & uncle were living in Winchester, MA & put on a show to raise money for victims. No pics of the show yet but I’ve attached the show note & pics of the audience.

I think that I mis-identified my “false widow” Hecate as Steatoda Grossa but she’s actually Steatoda Borealis.
I am planning on redoing her enclosure and I’ll try to get some good pics!

Card, "The Enchanted Dragon" by Su-Zan, 1978 from The Enchanted Crystal of San Francisco. There is a small crystal attached to the card. This was sent by my aunt to my mom in Feb. of 1983. My mom was a big Tolkien fan & it seems this is heavily influenced by Smaug & the Arkenstone, perhaps?
