This evening, we note the passing of Anne Schedeen (known to those who loved her as Annie) at the age of 77, best remembered as the patient and grounded Kate Tanner on the hit NBC series πππ (1986β1990).

Rest in peace, Anne Schedeen. A wonderful person from what Iβve heard and an incredible actress. Itβs always enjoyable to see her turn a character like Kate into a full three-dimensional character. My condolences to her family.

Anne Schedeen deserved to be so much more than "the mom in ALF" but she was bloody great at it. I think my favourite actor in the entire series once they worked out how to write for her.
