🆕 Our latest STI report lands today with positive signs - diagnoses have fallen 8.3% overall, showing system-wide efforts are making a real difference. It also shows syphilis diagnoses in gay and bisexual men at their lowest since 2016.
📈 Genital herpes cases are rising, with a 3.1% increase reported in England between 2024 and 2025. It’s a common STI, and many people have no symptoms. You can catch it through skin-to-skin contact like touching or rubbing, so it can be passed on without having penetrative sex.
