So I read this, and have been seeing all the lies about reducing 911 times by raiding the PCEF, and I wondered "What are Portland's 911 calls for?"
And, it seems like if we had non-police response to a HUGE number of issues, we could actually lower 911 response times for dangerous situations.

He says "until city politicians make public safety a priority, Portland will suffer economically and public safety will disintegrate" without noting that police are a small, very expensive factor in "public safety."
