You will see (and listen, hopefully) a lot stuff by me about this World Cup: today, a 20-minute podcast in Italian. Enjoy!

Soccer in the United States has a longer (and more complicated) history than many people think. On the Italian outlet @ilpost.it, you'll find a summary of years of research I've conducted on the topic. Enjoy! www.ilpost.it/2026/06/12/s...

"Exclusive interview" with Gianni Infantino, today on Rivista Undici, one of the main Italian sports outlets. Written by Alessandro Alciato, who is literally Infantino's official biographer. They talk about everything except the things the rest of the world talks about.
I wouldn't be surprised if ฤŒeferin ran for FIFA president after the World Cup. Infantino is more unpopular than ever, and with the Artan case (as well as other incidents involving players and fans in Senegal, Morocco, and the Ivory Coast), he's jeopardizing CAF's support.

The election will take place in 2027 and for now Infantino is the only candidate.
Moving the match to a neutral venue was the FAI's only option. Will it solve the problem? Absolutely not: the campaign is for a complete boycott of the match against Israel, not for it to be moved from Dublin.
UEFA has just announced that Omar Artan, the Somali referee excluded from the #2026WorldCup by the United States' decision, will officiate the next European Super Cup. It's hard not to see this as a clear dig at Infantino. >>>
The first question of the interview (not a joke): "President Infantino, let's start from an almost philosophical concept: what is happiness?". THIS IS NOT JOURNALISM
