Thirty-six years ago. The famous Fire on the Mountain eruption show from Portland. No, not the first huge eruption that came in May, but a secondary one that definitely hit in the 2nd set, and certainly impaired getting to Seattle for the next gig.

Quite a morning of Grateful Dead music in store this morning, from this date in Dead history. From the Carousel Ballroom in 68 and the Fillmore West in 69, to a Day On The Green in 74 and Winterland in 77, all the way out to more of The Other Ones rehearsals in 98 for the summer tour.
