Emmaia Gelman’s new book, The Anti-Defamation League and the Racial State, frames the group not as a racial justice organization but as a deputy sheriff for the US empire.

It's been almost a week since I reported that the Texas Republican party is publicly supporting a group that wants to execute abortion patients.
There hasn't been one bit of media coverage since

Why do you spread Trump’s lies in your headlines, NYT? It’s not enough to rebut them in the article which follows. Headlines should provide a clear summary of what follows. Without the word “lies” in the headline, this is just spreading the same lie. 😡

I’m late to the party but I just found that @fairmediawatch.bsky.social is here. Love their work and especially their “Counterspin” podcast.
It’s a subtle point but an important one. NYT says there’s a lack of evidence of “widespread fraud” in the CA election. No, AFAIK, there is NO evidence of ANY fraud in the CA election (aside from the usual capitalist fraud of allowing elections to be bought with money). @fairmediawatch.bsky.social

What a number of pundits who signed the Harper’s letter have since said, or kept quiet about, suggests they see individual protests against white supremacy and genocide as a greater threat to intellectual freedom than government crackdowns on speech and academic inquiry.

"It's not just local ecosystems that these data centers are affecting, but it's also driving death and destruction across the globe."
In close Washington, DC, mayoral elections, the Washington Post associates the candidate it wants to lose with extremists and corruption, facts be damned.
