For context I'm trying to compile a list of my publications and print them in a pretty format on my quarto website. ORCiD data is patchy, so I've been looking at ways to fill in the gaps.
Any #rstats or #databs people have experience sending DOIs to an API to get publication details back? Curious if one service is particularly better than another, as I've been looking at ORCiD, crossref, datacite, but happy to hear about any

You probably saw `filter_out()` in {dplyr} 1.2.0 but did you notice `when_any()` and `when_all()`? Not only is it easier to write conditions, but the usage of commas instead of | and & means formatters like air will align all conditions the same 🀩 #rstats dplyr.tidyverse.org/reference/wh...
Go read the genderize.io docs! They even provide a case study applying different approaches to a dataset of olympic athletes At best 1 in 20 assignments is wrong, at worst it's nearly 1 in 10!
