What should we add to our website, or specifically our Tabula America maps? 1. Historical Elections to the Suffragium Map 2. More ACS/Census info to the Genus Map 3. A correlation graph program, for comparing demographics and election info 4. Other (comment below)
I know this may freak some people out considering Harris won this seat by 14%, but basically all the big elections tonight were Republican runoffs. Ossoff obviously advanced and Bottoms got above 50% of the vote, while both Republican primaries failed to yield someone who got above 50%.
What is something that is liberal coded? Like an activity or clothing or whatever. Alternatively, what's something that's either conservative coded or non-political coded
QOTD: Pick a European country and tell me how it would have voted in the 2024 Presidential election if it were a state
Also, out of that 9 million vote "shift", 44% can be attributed to White areas (100K districts), 21% to Hispanic areas, 9% to Black areas, 2% to Asian/Native areas, and 24% to no majority areas. I think it dispels the notion that Trump only won because of Hispanics, a lot of it was White turnout!

Something interested I found while looking our new map project, Tabula America Suffragium, is that the shift from 20-24 was from Biden winning by about 7 million votes, to Trump winning by about 2 million votes, a shift of 9 million votes. (Thread)
Out of that, 6 million can be attributed to Dems losing votes, and 3 million to Reps gaining votes. (2/3)
IN addition to our new Tabula America maps, we are announcing a contest relating to the maps! The contest is to design maps of each state + DC in DRA/Redistricter, and the one we deem to be the most unique/interesting will get added to the Tabula America maps! Rules/how to enter is below ⬇️
