According to @jeremymbarr.bsky.social, Lesley Stahl led a few '60 Minutes' staffers in a champagne toast yesterday, telling them that David Ellison called her up and promised the show would remain independent.
One staffer pointed out Ellison had made that same pledge when he bought CBS last year.
