Star Trek II is the connective tissue between my childhood trek fandom as a 70s syndication generation kid, and my teen fandom that eventually blossomed into the Tango that I am today—It’s special for so many reasons, but to some of us of a certain age, this movie means a lot for a lotta reasons 🖖
42 years ago today I joined the search as Star Trek III premiered and I’d just gotten my license and had a job and free time and my friend and I saw this thing about a million times that summer— it has a special place in my heart 🥹
