I've just been delayed by 72 years....
Over 30yrs ago when I was a Trainman D I got sent to the Nene Valley Railway and then to detach/couple this Locomotive up on a run round at Peterborough station.. Then did Guard duties taking it to Cambridge..
Just...Just a perfect evening..

After a fruitless effort listening for Quail in different locations I headed to WWT Welney.
(Headless😬) Black Winged Stilt and Garganey in the same frame and also Whooper Swan Cygnets about. Oh and the Ploughman's Ciabatta is recommended 👌
