An apology and correction was issued. I posted in my replies to the original. Everyone makes mistakes. It's unusual to own them that quickly. Courier is a class act.
You know what's awesome? When an org makes a mistake and wastes no time in admitting it and correcting the record. So grateful to
@couriernewsroom.bsky.social
for modeling great behavior and a commitment to accuracy. More of this please.
Few organizations in the world could take the kind of fire Media Matters has since 2023 and not only survive, but win legal victories that benefit all. For another org to use misinformation to raise funds for themselves is questionable at best and certainly not how we win against fascists.
Watching originalists over at the X bird site lose their minds because Jill Lepore's book on popular constitutionalism won a Pulitzer is a surprise delight.
Outside money by Dem leadership pouring into Iowa to defeat hometown hero @zachwahls.bsky.social is political malfeasance in a primary where-even if you prefer the other guy (I don't)-Zach is widely known to be a great leader. We have a whole Chamber to win. Get it together. This is why we lose.
SCOTUS issues pause on lower court ban on mail order abortion pills. I don't think anyone in the GOP is interested in refocusing attention on abortion--an issue they resoudingly lose on--so close to midterms they are widely predicted to lose anyway. www.nytimes.com/2026/05/04/u...

I’m a Texan and much of my family is still there. Both Jasmine Crockett and James Talarico represent the best of our state, and I am so proud of the future pathways they offer Texans and our nation. No matter what happens today, Texas Democrats have shown the country what leadership looks like.
Amazing. Brigadier General Shawn Harris over performing in the reddest district of Georgia. Advances to runoff for Marjorie Taylor Greene’s seat.

1/ I have to correct some misinformation here. The stakes are too high.
We aren’t going bankrupt. It's a totally unfounded and incendiary suggestion, especially for a news outlet to make.
Also, they’re fundraising for themselves off of our bruises? Oof. Mercenary in the guise of being supportive.
