In response to a Q about establishing sex: “What we explain in the Code is that the decision you make has to depend on, you know, the service that you’re providing, the seriousness of it remaining single-sex, you know, what the evidence is, if there has been complaints, all of those sorts of things”
(In the city centre at the moment and should note for accuracy that there does seem to have been a protest on Buchanan Street, now headed down the street to an unknown destination.)
Oddly, I learn on X I am being criticised for making money from Substack, so I am happy to confirm that it has never been possible to pay for my Substack, no-one has ever paid for my Substack, and you shouldn't pay for my Substack even if you could as I've published on it four times in four years.

This is one of the things that makes me most persuaded of the argument that the government (and its MPs) should get off X. I don’t see how you end up going down this line of thinking other than by X having warped your perceptions of where public opinion sits.
To cycle back to this, particularly 1) last night is the thing that actually has lead me to feel some degree of contempt for Keir Starmer. I could cope with him being bad at his job, it is the fact that him being bad at his job has enabled far right street violence that makes me angry.

This is not a new point, but I just don’t see how the EHRC expects this to work. The suggestion in the answer given here is that any questions that arise - ones that may require on the spot responses - should be dealt with by some kind of complex weighing of multiple factors by the service provider?
