Eih, yesterday was the anniversary of Don West and Mike Tenay high fiving with Dory Jr. behind them? Time flies!
Fun fact: I was there! I spent that summer in Orlando until I hurt myself real real bad in an accident in Ocala later in the summer. Went to a few of the tapings. Was a lot of fun.
All I'll say about doing The Garden is that it was one of the best and worst experiences in my life. It was an accomplishment that meant a lot to me and a nice carrot to stay with ROH at the time. But everything not related to the in-ring stuff was bad vibes central.
It's been 7 years so I guess I can spill the beans? No production meeting. I was on the air for 6 straight hours. I was leading a broadcast that I didn't get a format for until about 5 minutes before show time.

With all this talk about MSG, how about the time they booed Ricky Nelson so bad he introspectively wrote a monster hit song about how sad he was after performing there?
That was just a really rough time for everyone in ROH except for honestly Gary Juster who pulled off the coup of coups and finally booked the Garden. I love the in ring product that night but the vibes were weird all night.
