For @aftermath.site, I reviewed the Steam Machine. It costs $1049 base. It is beautifully designed. It might be one of the most important computers ever made, launched at the worst time imaginable.

Valve has released a tiny, silent, entry level PC that does important work bringing PCs gaming to the living room and desktop Linux to the masses. The timing could not be worse.
