The story "The White People" of Arthur Machen has a special place in my heart. Just did this cover for a new illustrated edition with aditional tales inspired by it.

There are many interpretations of what [Paimon] can bestow, but I’m quite fond of the idea of him as a merchant of secret knowledge, your experience of course, may vary.
So I illustrated him as a wanderer sporting forbidden and dangerous goods across the desert.
