Unfortunately, in my country Iran, sexual abuse is used as a tool of power. Child marriage is institutionalized in the law. The use of sexual violence is embedded within the legal system for torture against political prisoners. These crimes are being committed against the women of my country.

And allegations of abuse wouldn't be framed as positive depictions of masculinity. Our culture rewards abuse.
