It's rad as hell that there hasn't been a deal reached, the U.S. and Iran are still lobbing missiles at each other, and that Axios and other corporate media outlets just continue shoveling this dumb, obviously untrue bullshit out there to serve the purpose of manipulating the market.
It's been kind of hair pulling seeing clips of Republicans saying heinous bullshit and people replying "This will be in all the campaign ads for the democrats!" Because no it won't. The democrats don't want to win. At least, not in any way that would harm Israel or large business interests.

There's a surprisingly effective Republican playbook that's hard to unsee once you see it: 1) Enshittify a government service. Add red tape, means-testing, etc. to make it slower, costlier, more annoying for participants. 2) Use its shittiness to justify gutting or privatizing the service.
