Why am I up at almost two in the morning posting to Bluesky? Please don’t answer. Lol. Unless you like chaos.
If I’m not anxious, I forget to breathe.
This does mean being equally empathic with yourself.
I get it, I think we’re finally approaching the same level of anger the right has always had toward us, so of course the same “solutions” are going to occur to us, but it’s our job to reject those. It’s our job to go further left, embrace more radical empathy, push back even harder against hate.
Let me be clear: Maryland will work with federal law enforcement when it makes our communities safer. But actions that terrorize children, separate families in front of a school, and undermine trust in public institutions do not make us safer.
