I don't know how obvious it is if you're not the type to always look for Mizuki like I am, but she's running around with fireworks, too. In the crowd.
I'm all for speculation! I think it's normal to look at people who seem sort of like you in some way and think "that person might be somewhat l like me," but I think if the only people who ping your radar are the richest and most beautiful, a little self reflection might be in order.
I'm not sure these people even know or care that there are openly autistic celebrities. I think they most want to claim Taylor Swift as their own.
Today in autistic influencers: It would be really helpful if more celebrities got diagnosed because we need good autistic role models who are successful. (Why not just look up openly autistic people who are doing their best, even if their autism sometimes get in the way of being rich and famous?)
Anyway, one of them is mad at me now because I said I didn't think armchair diagnosis was a revolutionary act and that in some (not all!) cases, it was motivated by internalized ableism and a distaste for the openly autistic people who are already out there and aren't aspirational enough.
There are multiple people liking this post who once called Mizuki a “dollar store Riho” and I’m sorry, but I am too autistic to forget that or let it go.
My Mina defence is nothing compared to what I’d do for Mizupyon.
