Inflation continues, we're in the middle of a war with Iran that Trump started, a major global shipping lane is still blocked, plus the other gazillion other awful things happening in the world.
And on a Monday morning the primary Republican talking point is "America needs a Whitehouse ballroom!"

This kind of stuff will make all of us go insane.
Nobody was discussing any ballroom until Trump tore down the East Wing last year. And this was not an argument for the ballroom until literally hours ago.
But now we're supposed to pretend like the WHCA incident settles some longstanding debate?

Mike Johnson: "The ballroom will be a solution for this. It'll have 7-inch thick glass, so it'll be a very safe environment to do events like that. We need a place like that and the president keeps pointing it out."
