at a certain point of obsessing over old macs one realizes that making stuff actually doesn't take that much processing power -- like yeah, its nice, but other than keeping up-to-date with software you can, essentially, make pretty competent work at full resolution/sample rate with a G4
tons of digital work made from the late 00s onwards may have defining stylistic differences from the work made today but its more for the sake of trend rather than limitation (realtime 3d is an exception, maybe even rendered 3d too but much less so)
