1/3 of the game industry has lost their job in the last two years. Ubisoft closed two more studios today. Everyone is out of work. To that end I'm starting a new bundle to benefit a layoffs hardship fund. Game devs: please consider submitting your PAID games to the bundle, which will launch in July.

Trained under a guy about 30 years ago and he was a complete pile of shit. Decided to just stop entirely instead of try to find a new trainer in the area since he basically had his hand in everything in the area. YouTube video this morning tells me he hasn't changed one bit in the last 30 years.
This is probably the thing I've worried the most about and seen the least talked about with regards to AI use. Remember how we heard about people driving off into rivers and ditches because they were blindly following their GPS? That's exactly what this is - people who lost their ability to think.
Overwatch competitive drives progress so far: 2 wins, 2 losses. Every single game, win or loss, has been exceptionally tight. Hard to complain about the matchmaking I've had to this point.
I know it's going to be garbage any moment now though.

Ignoring the AI battle about this for a second, interesting to see The Offspring's "Change The World" got promoted from the (uncredited) 10 second drum sample used in the Dreamcast's main menu to the full track used during gameplay and further cements that it really was the same song.

That Final Fantasy Resonance game looked kind of neat but uh... otherwise, I rate the Direct a sold "oof" out of 10.
I've never played Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess before and it feels weird that my first experience with it is in ultrawide, 240fps with 4k texture replacements in a PC recompilation. Hard to complain about the results.
It took a while but my first contribution to #NixOS is in. Weeeeee. :D
Expect more libretro cores and other emulation bits I need for my arcade machine to come into NixOS from me in the future.
