As a hostile federal government has been attacking our LGBTQ+ community I renew my commitment to fighting for protection, empowerment, love, and liberation of our LGBTQ+ neighbors. Love always wins!
George Floyd Square is a sacred place of global importance. The community in this area has been hard hit over the last 6 years, so I led the charge on protecting residents and businesses from a special assessment that was out of touch with what this project is.
At yesterday’s Minneapolis City Council, we rejected Mayor Frey’s decision to award Agape exclusive development rights for the Peoples’ Way with a 10-2-1 vote at the request of Council Member @sorenwithward8.bsky.social and myself. 1/
