Correction on this part : According to the reveal stream, the art is actually a very carefully traced redraw by Curee of AQUASTYLE. This is probably easiest to see on Flandre, as the shading on her dress is very much in line with how shading is done in Genso Wanderer.
The game will feature upscaled versions of the original EoSD art, now no longer cut off. This allows certain details that were previously not visible to finally be seen in-game. Such as Meiling's bracelet on her left arm or Flandre's skirt clip.
