Police and political leaders in Northern Ireland have appealed for calm after disorder erupted in a number of areas last night during demonstrations in response to a stabbing attack on Monday.
Protestors set fire to a bus in Belfast while some residents had to be removed from their homes as flames spread to properties amid disorder across a number of areas in the city last night.
