Haha, I mean it's still a lot, here it is for this page.
I used to have separate layers for character flats, color tint for characters, character shades, bg flats, bg shades, highlights, etc. Nowadays, I just cel shade right away on the same layer as the flats and paint the bg on one or 2 layers.

I've been trying to warn y'all about this pro badge price for years! The NYCC cost has TRIPLED since 2019.
It should be free for comic creators. We're underpaid, overworked, and none of these conventions would be possible without us.
Seeing this Transformers SDCC exclusive Blaster figure takes me back to this time five years ago when I was developing my first IDW comic, an Optimus Prime graphic novel where he's the new kid in school and the only way he connects with other kids is by playing his synthesizer.
