I need to get a complicated proposal done today. I must focus, but have not yet (and it's after 11am). I am going to try a timer technique that sometimes works for me. I set an alarm for an hour and force myself to not stop (unless I finish) until the alarm goes off. Success rate: about an 85%
In the midst of working on this proposal, there's a part that overlaps with a new offering/service/product idea I had a while back that I put on pause to refine, so...instead of finishing the proposal, I worked on that...and finished it. But tbf, I will use what I did on that for this proposal...
