After 40 years, privatisation of our public services has failed. It's time for public ownership. We use it, we pay for it, We Own It. https://weownit.org.uk/people-not-profit https://weownit.org.uk/act-now/donate

Public ownership of water is hugely popular. In a democracy this should count for something. But the government continues to protect private water profiteers. Baroness Jenny Jones helped deliver a letter to the Environment Secretary, asking her to tell the truth about water public ownership.
If you want parliament to have a serious debate about water, sign the petition: https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/762640/

The government can’t be bringing train operations into public ownership, which is wonderful, yet allowing many jobs at train stations to be outsourced. The government must back @johnmcdonnellmp.bsky.social’s amendment to bring services in-house like they promised to do at the last election.
🔥🔥@chrishinchliff.bsky.social is absolutely spot on: people will judge the success of public ownership of rail on whether it makes using trains cheaper. His amendment - supported by We Own It - will create a Great British Railcard to give every passenger a discount on fares. Govt should back it.

We have been campaigning for public ownership of rail for years. It’s wonderful to see that work, alongside those of the rail unions, recognised in parliament today. Thank you @stevewitherdenmp.bsky.social for working with us. Our public services should work for us. Not private shareholders.
The Government keeps claiming that taking water into public ownership would cost too much. Yesterday we, along with our fab supporters + Feargal Sharkey + WASP, the campaigners behind Channel 4's Dirty Business, delivered a message loud and clear to them. Their figures are nonsense. contd/
