The first FIFA World Cup game in Philadelphia did not have the huge impact that hotels and restaurants had hoped for, but it did produce a bit of a bump for some.

Ed Grose, of the Greater Philadelphia Hotel Association, says hotels were hoping to be full, but most saw a 70-75% occupancy rate over the weekend. Still, he says, that’s more than a typical Sunday night in mid-June. KYW’s City Hall bureau chief Pat Loeb reports.
