A small scarab soaked in waterfall mist. The metallic green on the beetle is not pigment, but structural color (a result of micro-structures that reflect only certain wavelengths). If you look closely within the droplets, the green is refracted into other hues. (Dichelonyx sp.; Montana) #Bugsky 🌿🐙📷
