The ocean regulates our climate, supports biodiversity, and underpins communities and economies worldwide.

🌊 The final day of the #EuroGOOSConference began with a session focused on how ocean observation and marine knowledge can help address the Triple Planetary Crisis and respond to societal needs. 🌍
From flood risk reduction in the Western Mediterranean to climate-resilient aquaculture and offshore renewable energy, speakers and panellists highlighted the importance of aligning marine knowledge for climate, biodiversity & the #BlueEconomy.

Today’s programme is bringing together the ocean community through a series of parallel sessions, alongside the poster session and stands, creating valuable opportunities for networking and collaboration across the ocean observing community 🌊
At #EuroGOOSConference, the @amrit-eu.bsky.social project organised the workshop “EOOS TSC: Towards a Sustained Federal Structure”, bringing together the community to discuss the future of operational support for European ocean observing.
🌊 Today, the European Commission @ec.europa.eu adopts #OceanEye, reinforcing Europe's commitment to ocean observation and ocean knowledge.
