30 second Medusa timelapse. I once read about a golden age illustrator who would create comps by arranging drawings on tracing paper and that totally changed the way I work. I really like assembling pictures from individual drawings, it's like collaging with your own work
Working this way can create some weird moments of pseudo perspective that isn't quite "accurate" but on the other hand you can get a really dense, stacked composition where all the elements relate to each other. My Witches Work piece was made this same way.
