I guess a bit of an update for those who saw my pathetic (yet justified) post about my hearing-
Same stuff, still half deaf, no viruses found so next up is an MRI, but also yknow, acceptance therapy about probably needing to wear a hearing aid in my future-
Now to see what type still :’)
Ive been trying to not share this with more people as I can tell it comes from a desire to be pitied- but journaling isn’t working so might as well
Last friday I woke up halfdeaf, we thought that it was a big deal and I made an appointment to get my ears cleaned- (1/2)
Its my birthday and I had kind of fallen into a slump on that day? The last two years Ive instead chosen to do fun stuff and plan things for it and its tiring, socially, but its fun, genuinely
Getting older sucks, rn im coping, but Im making it a fun time regardless 💪✨
And my ears were clean? So now Im dealing with a diagnosis called Sudden Deafness, I have to go to a specialist, it has abysmal recovery rates and I caNT HEAR ANYTHING OUT OF MY RIGHT EAR
YET EVERYTHING IS LOUD AND OVERSTIMULATING!!!!
Ive been crying a lot over the weekend, no surprise there (2/2)
