There are obvious ways that trans ppl & their families are affected by the WH's deranged war on them, and also less obvious ones.
I'd love to be as excited abt Mamdani as you all are. I truly would. But I can't, bc he's pulling this shit. If he doesn't keep his promise, trans youth in NYC will die.
I personally think New York City should not bend to Trump's bigoted bullshit in any way. I'm gonna tell @mayor.nyc.gov (AGAIN) that he should protect the right of trans kids to get the healthcare they need - and open this city clinic to them.
