Saturday’s Pennant match saw Cygnet travel to Glenorchy City, and fine hosts they were! We were successful on two rinks, taking home 4 points, but GC were overall winners and deservedly took 10 points for themselves.
What we did in the off season:
A timely win for Cygnet at home against Glenorchy City this Saturday just passed. Being a doubleheader weekend, today we head up to face Buckingham on their home turf.

Apart from Cygnet’s win, most admiring comments dwelt on the glorious weed free state of the ditches.
Following the Open Day trophy presentations Donna threw up the first jack, Dean Winter and the Club President let go one bowl each, the green was declared open and a 6 end random draw pairs competition ensued, followed by bbq sausages and refreshing beverages. TUESDAY BAREFOOT BOWLS BEGINS THIS WEEK
Work begins on the change to synthetic green.
