I believe I ran the first Bluesky-first congressional campaign in the country. Some folks thought I was nuts. But it was absolutely the best move.
Bluesky has better fundraising metrics and engagement for candidates, and the site isn’t overrun with Nazis. Take note.

I've worked in Democratic digital comms for a long time and pay attention to campaign metrics across platforms.
Increasingly I'm seeing Dems who crosspost on X, Bluesky, and Threads get better engagement on Bluesky even with far fewer followers.
