New research by Amelia R Tanner (cupediatrics.bsky.social) et al. investigated the effects of 9 days of glucagon infusion (5 or 50 ng/kg/min) in late-gestation fetal sheep, increasing plasma glucagon concentrations by ~800% to study chronic fetal hyperglucagonemia.
