Void Stranger is a sokoban-style game (more about moving tiles than rocks...) but it might be more accurate to call it a work of art. Everything about this game makes me want to scream. The simple logo offers no description of the feelings that hide beneath.

THE LONGING tasks you with waiting for your king's return in 400 days... Real-time. Until then, you may freely explore his beautiful hand-drawn kingdom. You play as a delightful little Shade. You move at a snail's pace, and the kingdom has many areas to explore, but don't worry: You have the time.
Card City Nights is a game by Ludosity, the makers of Slap City. It's a quirky little card game with an eclectic cast of characters, many of them based on others in the Ludosity pantheon. It also draws characters from Daniel Remar's games, such as Iji
And you can date a girl who REALLY likes rocks.
Orb of Creation is an incremental game by solo developer Marple. It's had a very long development cycle, but the 1.0 release is happening in less than a week! You awake in the Void with nothing but your orb to ponder, and so you begin working to recreate reality itself. I really really love the OST.
Environmental Station Alpha is a metroidvania-style game in which you are sent to explore a derelict space biodome and determine what happened to its inhabitants. It's fairly difficult, but mastering its nuanced controls feels great. The postgame feels La Mulana-esque with its puzzles.
ASTLIBRA is an action RPG in which you play a young man on a mission to find his long-lost childhood love accompanied by his crow bff. The scope of the story expands to fill all available space, and kept me guessing until the very end. Its refusal to end feels downright audacious. I loved it all.
PARANORMASIGHT: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo is a mouthful of a title, but I must write it all, to distinguish it from the sequel which was recently released. A gripping visual novel, dreary and unsettling, like a ouija board on a stormy day. Dealing with the paranormal feels like a battle of wits.
Inscryption is a single-player card game, played against one of the greatest DMs one could ask for. Except for the part where you can't escape him. It's also much more than that. There's depths to this game that I can't even talk about.
Animal Well is an absolute work of art. Plays like a metroidvania but with a focus on solving puzzles and exploration as opposed to fighting enemies. Clearing to the credits is simple enough, but this Well is *full* of secrets.

If you click the link, it has individual Steam links for each of them. My criteria was games that most of my friends haven't played, in hopes that maybe someone will play one and I can gush with them.
