Last week I was honoured to host Queen Mother Chief Freda Sideroff & colleagues from St Lucia and St Vincent & the Grenadines. My former PhD student Abigail Coppins and I gave them & High Commissioners a tour of Portchester Castle where 2000 prisoners of war from the Caribbean were kept in 1796.🗃️
