Heaven's Vault has an enormous amount of system in it to casually drop a clue right in front of you should you run out of info; it's entirely invisible in the course of play but take it away and the game is just impossible

grinding a narrative game is weird… like I’m playing Seance of Blake Manor and I’ve run out of leads so I guess I’ll just ask everyone about everything now
