The rules on voting by mail postmarks and the signature verification process compounds that. That part is not a huge mystery. Just saying that’s how they count is not as helpful as providing some basic facts.

It’s not just California, though they do take an especially long time. In Ohio, returns from Cuyahoga county, where Cleveland is located, tend to come in late and make a difference. Does that mean every time Cleveland returns change the outlook people should claim fraud? This is madness.
