Xbox had already “planned to sunset or split with” Hellblade developer Ninja Theory before its new game, Senua, was revealed, a report from Game File claims.
"The thinking was that the promise of a newly announced game would help draw investor interest in the studio," reports Stephen Totilo.
Hellblade developer Ninja Theory has been named as one of the Xbox studios reportedly negotiating with Microsoft about their futures.
