100% I mean if the reason you don't like someone is what they're doing than focus on that. I remember all the people who would deadname Caitlyn Jenner "cause she didn't deserve respect," no she doesn't but if you mock her for being trans you mock all trans people. Same with disability and illness.

I will never ever stop saying that it’s super important to direct insults at the bigots/facists/terrible people who deserve them, and not the many good people on your side. The way people immediately turn to ableism or body shaming, rather than the choices someone makes.
