i love how minor this is. the reflecting pool saga is so nothing, but because it's so nothing it REALLY emphasizes the sheer ineptitude of this administration. there are no victims to consider foremost, no bombs being dropped on schools. it's just Trump taking on a simple challenge and blowing it
