Start your run up to the weekend by listening to the lilting tones of a brass band playing The Final Countdown by Europe. Or not. www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3kT...
Prog 516 Nifty artwork, but that contrived banner pun is of a Daily Star headline standard.
I just picked up the new Edinburgh Fringe guide. For how long has the brochure had the thickness of a paving stone? The purple comedy section alone is the size of the entire guide from six years ago. How the do all these hundreds of turns afford to put on shows in these lean times?
Prog 517 "MY EYES! MY BEAUTIFUL EYES!!!" They did this subtle trick on the previous issue; making the price tag the same colour as the background so it blends in without the reader noticing the galaxy's greatest comic has just gone up a penny. Devious.

Prog 513 The eagle eyed among you will have spotted Dredd's profile in the letter 'J'. A cool subtle detail, but it looks like Joe is about to make himself puke, much like the logo for the long gone Happy Eater restaurant chain.

Last night in Gordon Ramsey's restaurant, I walked into the kitchen and served the head chef some Cornish turbot, with asparagus and wild garlic. He had me thrown off the premises. Ramsey can dish it out, but he can't take it.
Prog 515 That's the look of someone who's just enjoyed tucking into a hotdog.
Fairly recent chazza shop LP find bought on the strength of the silly sleeve art. 1976 album by short lived London rock band, Tiger (who were supporting Hawkwind on tour that year). As Tony would say, "They're grrrrrrrreat!" 🐯 www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLG5...
Prog 514 Ah, this issue came out on the weekend of my 21st birthday. What was the wish I made as I blew out the candles? That would be telling but its fulfilment has come pretty damn close so far.
I'm not a religious man, but even so my Aldi shopping receipt from this afternoon gives me concern.
