Happy to be an early signatory of this! While the Federal Gov't continues to roll back climate progress at a rate that would make Stephen Harper blush, Local Govt's across Canada are facing the increased costs and impacts of climate disruption. We need to fight back! 💪

...not to let the Province off the hook, an important tool for Local Gov't in BC is the LGCAP, which provides climate action grants to local gov'ts who are willing to take measures & *transparently track their progress*. We have a motion at #NewWest Council today to ask BC not to scrap it!
